Transitioning After Drug Abuse Rehab
I did a search for "drug rehab facility Arizona" and I found a website to a rehab called Gatehouse Academy. They seemed to have the best center in all of Arizona and maybe even the USA. Their drug addiction facility is geared toward teenagers and young adults.
They learn cognitive behavioral skills that will help them to stay sober once they leave treatment and re-enter society. And because their clients are younger, they are often around crowds that use substances more, just as the college crowd. Transitioning these recovering users takes some time.
In fact, GHA has a third phase of transition that helps their clients even more. After a person graduates from their drug abuse rehab, they can enroll in the Gatehouse College Campuses program that will help them get back into school while still keeping their sobriety as their number one priority. This goes on for something like six months to a year and studies have shown that the longer a person stays in treatment, the better their rates of not relapsing are. And transitioning is a great way to do this.
